Sherra E. Kerns, Ph.D. (Judge Advisor)
Sherra Kerns is Vice President for Innovation and Research at the new Olin College, which provides full tuition scholarships to every admitted student. She is also Past-President of the American Society for Engineering Education, where she is involved with national and international efforts to help diversify the engineering workforce and to improve K-16 educational opportunities. Dr. Kerns has made many contributions to the invention and development of novel electronics systems, including chip designs for space systems, optical interconnect schemes for microelectronics and diamond transistors.
